We were honored to welcome the Rt. Rev. Peter Manto, Bishop Ordinary of the Diocese of the Central States on December 3, 2023. The Reformed Episcopal Church celebrated its 150th anniversary on December 2, 2023, so it was especially great to have Bishop Peter with us as we remembered that anniversary.
St. Luke’s Anglican Church Supports the Fleming County Backpack Program
St Luke’s Anglican Church supports local missions projects such as the “Backpack Food Programs” that provide a backpack full of food for area school children. St Luke’s contributes to programs in both Fleming and Mason Counties. St. Luke’s Anglican Church Participates in Community Thanksgiving Service
St. Luke’s Church is an active supporter and member in the Limestone Ministerial Association. At the Community Thanksgiving Service held at First Christian Church on November 17, 2022, Dr. Christopher Beckham was one of the clergy participants. The Limestone Ministerial Association is an ecumenical organization that focuses on Christian cooperation and benevolent ministries in the Maysville and Mason County area.

Bishop Abraham Nhial along with Dr. Beckham and some St. Luke Anglican church parishioners. One of our younger parishioners had learned about Bishop Abraham in one of his public school classes when they studied a unit on “the Lost Boys of Sudan” in English class.
Installation of Dr. Christopher Beckham, Priest in Charge, St. Luke’s Anglican Church
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Bill Atwood visited St. Luke’s parish to formally install the Rev. Dr. Christopher Beckham as priest in charge of the parish on May 22, 2022. We were grateful to spend the weekend visiting with the Bishop and learning more about his travels throughout the International Diocese territory and oversees in his work with Ekklesia.

Each year, we celebrate St. Luke’s Day with a special service and fellowship meal.
